My Story
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology and kinesiology and a doctorate in chiropractic. I started my career providing chiropractic and wellness services, then worked in absence management and quality assurance. I have volunteered on the Distress Centre of Greater Toronto crises and suicide lines.
My relationship with those I work with is based on trust and warmth. This creates a respectful, safe, and compassionate environment to be heard, understood, and valued. My holistic approach is rooted in the mind-body connection, is sensitive and responsive, and recognizes that everyone is unique and has different healing needs. I draw from acceptance and commitment therapy, person-centered, emotion and compassion focused, trauma-informed and narrative therapies and am trained in EMDR. My commitment to personal and professional development is ongoing.
We all possess inner strength and resources that can shift us toward change, personal growth, and resilience. I will help you explore and gather insight into areas where you feel stuck, self-critical, and insecure. We will work together to help you clarify your goals and patterns and build adaptive strategies to improve satisfaction in your life and relationships.
I look forward to hearing your story.
