My Story
Welcome. You may be coming to therapy with questions that feel hard to name: why certain types of relationships repeat, why you feel disconnected, or why familiar patterns keep pulling you back even when you want something different. You might sense that past experiences still shape how you respond, trust, or protect yourself. Often, the goal isn’t a quick fix — it’s understanding yourself more deeply, finding good mental health and discovering a more authentic way of being in the world.
My approach is intuitive and psychodynamic, with a strong focus on attachment and trauma-informed healing. In my work with individuals, we slow things down and listen closely. I especially pay attention to what I often think of as the unconscious whispers: subtle emotional cues, patterns, and defenses that point to deeper pain, unmet needs, and trauma responses. I integrate evidence-based modalities including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT/EFIT), and attachment-based, trauma-informed approaches. My intention is to offer a safe, compassionate space where healing feels possible — and where insight becomes something you can live, not just understand.
Starting therapy can feel vulnerable and uncertain, especially when you’re not sure what you’re looking for yet. You don’t need to have the right words or a clear plan. If you’re feeling stuck, unsettled, or intuitively searching for something deeper, therapy can be a place to explore together, at a pace that feels right for you.
