Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Getting to know the parts of you — with curiosity, not judgement.

Clinically reviewed by the Healing Space Therapy clinical team

What is it

IFS understands the mind as a system of 'parts' — protectors, and the vulnerable parts they guard — organised around a calm, compassionate core Self. Instead of fighting symptoms, IFS helps you turn toward the parts that carry anxiety, criticism, or pain, understand what they're trying to do for you, and let them relax and unburden.

Our approach

We use IFS to create a non-shaming space where every part of you is welcome. Guided by curiosity, we help you lead from Self, so protective and wounded parts can soften and heal — a natural fit for complex trauma and long-standing patterns.

Why connect with us

Our team includes therapists trained through IFS Levels 1–3. If you feel at war with yourself, or the same reactions keep running the show, IFS offers a kinder path forward. Reach out to find the right therapist for you.
