What is it

EMDR is a structured, extensively researched therapy for trauma and distressing life experiences. Using bilateral stimulation — typically guided eye movements, taps, or tones — it helps the brain reprocess memories that have become 'stuck,' so they lose their emotional charge. Rather than reliving events in detail, clients notice how a memory shifts as it's processed toward a calmer, more adaptive resolution.

Our approach

Our EMDR-trained clinicians move at your nervous system's pace, spending real time on safety and resourcing before any reprocessing begins. We hold the work gently and collaboratively — you stay in control throughout, and we adapt the protocol to complex and developmental trauma.

Why connect with us

Several of our therapists hold EMDR certification and advanced training, and every one of them is trauma-informed. If persistent memories, flashbacks, or triggers are shaping your days, EMDR may help — book a free consultation to explore whether it's a fit.
